Behzad AVR-MT88E43 based CallerID (Beta version)

Some day's ago one of my friend's asked me to build a four channel CallerID system witch be able to collect CID information's from four separate Line's and send them trough USB port to PC and then he will be able to process this information's or save them into a database. I was saw some CallerID chip's datasheet and was bought one of that's which is from Zilinx company .though I built this project which I will explain it here before building the main project .

After some researching on google.com and some forum's, as I understand  to many people have problem's with this chip. especially with the input resistor's which was not in standard range's. I was bought a MT88E43AS and now start to build this for a simple test (according to schematic which is available in chip datasheet). but in start I could not to get any right response from the chip except ring detection!. but ring detection was not enough for me .as other people I used some resistor's with minimum difference with what was described in datasheet . the schematic which described in datasheet looks too complicate to me . though I have modified circuit as has described in this article .I have used single-ended instead differential input configuration and have simplified ring detection section and remove some part's which was not useful for me in this project ( i.e : STD part's..) . at present this project work fine, at least in my town ( SABZEVAR-IRAN ) it work fine in all region's where CID information is send in FSK format (but at one region where CID is send in DTMF format it does not work) .

The above picture show information's which has been sent from MT88E43AS after demodulation(in mode 0 of operation) that I recieved them from serial port and CodvisionAVR terminal program. if you see the picture carefully you can determine my mobile phone number 989155714862 there. this information's contain time and date and some data for synchronization , checksum and data length witch are described on esti .

And the above picture show latest result of this project. this result has given with using a SIPO shiftregister 74HC595 and ATmega8 AVR processor .

And finally after too many researching on CID Standard's the main project finisht too . the main project that you can see it here is able to detect both DTMF and FSK CallerID system's automatically .
